This course provides an overview of the legal issues and requirements of nonprofit organizations, including gaining and maintaining section 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status, nonprofit corporate governance; conflicts of interest; and other legal compliance issues surrounding board, staff and financial operations.

This class meets in the online synchronous format with live Zoom class meetings taking place from 6-9 pm on the following days: Mon (9/22), Wed (9/24), Sun (9/28), and Wed (10/1).
