This course provides an overview of immigration law with an emphasis on immigration procedure in the following areas: family and employment visas, political asylum, labor certificate, and non-immigration visas. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7029.

ELECTIVE COURSE. This is an online synchronous course with required Zoom class meetings that take place on Tuesdays, starting 10/5 and ending on 12/10. There is no class meeting on 11/26. The class meetings are from 6-9:45 pm. The Zoom link will be posted to the course portal in Canvas and also emailed to students within 2 days of first class meeting.
