This course examines scientific principles behind the development of skill in sport and other physical activities, and explores practical applications in contemporary training of athletes and physical performers. Following current research evidence and the practice of sport science professionals, this course provides information that teachers, coaches, and parents can apply to improve skill practice at all levels of expertise. Practical coaching tips are surveyed that facilitate learning, decision-making, concentration, and performance skills in beginners to elite performers. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 7828.
