PhD

I really enjoy talking about current event topics in finance. Not only does it make the content real but it brings up opportunities to discuss how finance, at its core, is about resource allocation from investors to businesses and back to investors. If our financial markets work well, the best ideas get financed and people can accomplish their dreams.

Eric Fricke, PhD worked for two Fortune 500 companies, first as an engineer and then as an analyst and business director. Dr. Fricke did finance valuations of acquisition targets and strategy analyses with lots of spreadsheets and presentations in between.

Dr. Fricke has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, MBA in Marketing and Finance, and PhD in Finance. His research has been quite varied with his interests from corporate investments, governance, and earnings announcements to governance of investment funds.
